This is sub-optimal since will not check if the certificate has been
revoked but is more privacy friendly since doesn't leak to the
certificate authority server that you're trying to validate a given
certificate
poppler 0.88 is crashy when using the signatures() method.
Use poppler's own version defines to check for 0.89 (since there's no
new api added in 0.89 we can't check it like the others)
Needs poppler 0.88, we "pretend" the belong to page 0 since in Okular
core there's no concept of having a signature that doesn't belong to any
page

The poppler dependency situation is:
* With 0.51 you get most signature information
* With 0.68 you also get signature location/reason information
* With 0.73 you also get signature certificate information
Summary:
Changing typewriter text color can be done in the typewriter properties dialog, or programmatically via new okular API methods TextAnnotation::textColor and TextAnnotation::setTextColor.
poppler >= 0.69 is required to store text color natively inside PDF documents. For other document types, text color is stored as metadata inside the document archive.

Text cancellation is a bit wobbly still since poppler has large parts
of the code where doesn't check for the cancellation flag, but that
is something that will get automagically fixed for us if the poppler
side is improved

Previously, rasterized printing would use the QPrinter backend whenever
annotations were to be printed, and fall back to the convert-to-ps
toolchain otherwise. Effectively, this meant that printing on
windows without showing the annotations was not possible (because
on windows only the QPrinter can be used for printing).
Starting with poppler 0.60, there is a way to disable annotation
rendering for the renderToImage and renderToPainter methods that
are used by QPrinter. This patch makes use of this new option,
making printing on windows without annotations possible.

That patch extracts the video file, which is defined in a
rich media annotation as parameter for the flash player,
and uses the normal multimedia player, to playback the video
file.
This feature requires poppler-qt5 in version 0.36.

Released Sun Oct 18, 2009, if you want to build this new Okular with that old poppler version you should really think updating it too, there's been lots of fixes since then
Enable the support for them only if the poppler version is recent enough (atm, git master of around 9 hours ago).
