We probably shouldn't be modifying that function, there's no other clean way to achieve our own status information, so let's try to emulate the original as much as possible. When noclobber is set, zsh will not allow the use of ">" to overwrite the contents of a file. Instead, it displays a "file exists" error. By using ">!" instead, we tell zsh to overwrite the file without complaining.	13 years ago
