The .clang-format file is based on the one in ECM except the following
style options:
- AlwaysBreakBeforeMultilineStrings
- BinPackArguments
- BinPackParameters
- ColumnLimit
- BreakBeforeBraces
- KeepEmptyLinesAtTheStartOfBlocks
The main advantage of SPDX license identifiers over the traditional
license headers is that it's more difficult to overlook inappropriate
licenses for kwin, for example GPL 3. We also don't have to copy a
lot of boilerplate text.
In order to create this change, I ran licensedigger -r -c from the
toplevel source directory.
The SceneOpenGLTest is transformed into a GenericSceneOpenGLTest which
can create either an OpenGL or an OpenGL ES scene based on env variable
which it sets in initTestCase. The env variable to set is passed as a
ctor argument from the SceneOpenGLTest and the new SceneOpenGLESTest.
This allows to easily run the same test code for both our OpenGL and
OpenGL ES compositor.
This test mocks part of KWin::Udev, udev and libinput. The test itself
is still rather limited and only verifies whether libinput is valid or
not and that assignSeat works. Most of the interaction is not yet tested,
though to a large degree doesn't make sense and should be rather tested
in the context of LibInput::Connection.

Source code reorganization:
The base class AbstractBackend got renamed to Platform, thus the
"backends" are "platforms" now. As they are plugins they should go
together with other KWin plugins which are nowadays in the folder
plugins.
So new location is plugins/platforms/

enabled by default, but will be made configurable soon. There is a known
issue with an incorrect geometry shown with konsole, but that's its fault,
and I'll get to that shortly (xterm does the right thing).
